On May 17, teachers of Minsk Gymnasium Number 29 attended a workshop on using the resources of the Virtual Reading Room.
The seminar gathered together more than 100 participants, who are interested in a qualified information support of teaching activity.
The access to world’s electronic resources is today provided to students and teachers of secondary schools and gymnasiums of Minsk, which are the partners of the National Library of Belarus in the Virtual Reading Room.
The employees of the National Library of Belarus, Marina Rudakovskaya, Svetlana Dyatchenko and Julia Metelskaya, told about the corporate interaction between Belarusian libraries for the acquisition of electronic resources and services of the Virtual Reading Room.
Also the attendees were introduced to the resources of the Virtual Reading Room – the electronic databases of world’s producers containing a wide variety of manuals, electronic books and periodicals on pedagogy, didactic materials and fiction.
