On October 23, Viktor Makhmudov, the Secretary of the Security Council under the aegis of the Uzbekistan, visited the library in the framework of a working visit.
For the honorary delegation, the Director of the National Library of Belarus Roman Motulsky held a tour around the library. Viktor Makhmudov got acquainted with the history of the book treasury and its architectural features, visited the most significant places: the general reading room, the gallery complex, the Round Hall and the observation deck.
At the end of the meeting, the director of the main library of the country handed to the guest of honor a facsimile of the "Primer" of 1618, which was timed to the 400th anniversary of its publication.
