Dear readers and visitors of the library! Pay Your attention to the work schedule during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

During the New Year holidays, the National Library of Belarus will work in the following way:

  • day off (the library is closed on public holidays):
    • December 25, 2023
    • January 1, 2024
    • January 2, 2024
    • January 7, 2024
  • December 31, 2023 – sanitary day (the library is closed)
On the remaining days of December the library has the usual work schedule.

During the New Year holidays, the Observation Deck will work in the following way:
  • December 21 – 30, 2023 is open from 11:00 to 23:00 (last elevator rise at 22:30)
  • December 29  to 15.00 elevator ride only to the 22nd floor
  • December 31, 2023 is a sanitary day, the observation deck is not working
  • January 1, 2024 is open from 14:00 to 23:00 (last elevator rise at 22:30)
  • January 2 – 7, 2024 is open from 11:00 to 23:00 (last elevator rise at 22:30)
During the New Year holidays, the Fitness Center will work in the following way:
  • December 21,22, 2023 is open from 09:00 to 22:00 
  • December 23 – 25, 2023 is open from 10:00 to 21:00 
  • December 26 – 29, 2023 is open from 09:00 to 22:00
  • December 30 – 31, 2023 is open from 10:00 to 21:00 
  • January 1, 2, 7, 2024 is open from 10:00 to 21:00

The quest tour "The road of the Great Victory"

On May 15, on the International Family Day, the National Library of Belarus was visited by members of the Belarusian Association of parents with many children in the Pervomaisky district of Minsk. They took part in the quest tour "The road of the Great Victory", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
