Life and creative career of Janka Kupala

An excursion from the cycle "Outstanding People of the Motherland" about the life path and creative career of Janka Kupala is intended primarily for schoolchildren and students.

During the tour visitors will learn about the architectural features of the National Library of Belarus building, its information resources and services, analyze the principle of the electronic catalog on the example of the search for works of famous Belarusian poet.

The interactive part of the lesson includes a multimedia presentation about the life path and creative career of Janka Kupala, literary quiz on his play "Paulinka". Guests will see a book exhibition of the Janka Kupala’s works from the collections of the National Library of Belarus, including his lifetime editions. At the end of the lesson, the guests will have the opportunity to solidify their knowledge with the help of creative tasks.
