“For a human to live like a human…”: exhibition to the 100- anniversary from the birthday of Ivan Melezh and Ivan Shamiakin

The exhibition “For a human to live like a human...” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Belarusian writers Ivan Melezh and Ivan Shamiakin, it's on show at the Atrium Gallery (3rd floor) from January 28.  Its purpose is to return the tribute of respect to the chroniclers of epoch, to resemble to visitors the creation of the artists of word, to support the interest of the readers in the literary heritage of the authors.

Modernity and the future of the Earth's population

From July 2 to August 5, in the documents of international rganizations of the National Library of Belarus (2nd floor, room 207g), a thematic book exhibition "Modernity and the future of the Earth's Population" takes place. The exhibition is dedicated to World Population Day, the 75th anniversary of the formation of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the 30th the anniversary of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and UNFPA .
