The National Library of Belarus carries on the series of anniversary book exhibitions dedicated to Russian and foreign writers.
In the third quarter of the year the National Library offers the following expositions:
- ”Peering into the future”: the 150th anniversary of the birth of the English writer and journalist Herbert George Wells (1866–1946);
- ”The history dressed in a novel”: the 240th anniversary of the birth of the British writer, poet and historian Walter Scott (1771–1832);
- ”The great mocker”: the 160th anniversary of the birth of the British writer and playwright George Bernard Shaw (1856–1950).
The reading rooms provide an access to the lists of publications on display. The reading lists are available on any user computer.
