On May 4th, known Russian poet Evgueny Evtushenko presented as a gift books with his dedicatory inscriptions to the National Library of Belarus.
During his creative visit to Minsk Evgueny Evtushenko presented to the National Library three new volumes of his anthology The Poet in Russia is more than a Poet, and also a collection catalog E. Evtushenko’s Museum-Gallery.
The known poet whose grandfather was born in Homichi (the Gomel Region) wrote dedicatory inscriptions in the books: ”2015, 4 May, on the eve of the 70th anniversary of our common Victory. To the National Library of Belarus – the fruit of my forty-year work with love of the homeland of my grandfather – Evgueny Naumovich Evtushenko” and ”To the reading room of the National Library of Belarus with admiration of the Belarusian people’s feat in the Great Patriotic War “.
