On 28 March, at 5 p.m., the opening of the 5th Minsk international exhibition of graphic art "Art-Line" is held in the gallery "Rakurs".
This year one of the most significant exhibitions of graphic art will gather in Belarus the works of artists from over 10 countries (Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Poland, Belgium, etc.).
In the framework of the fifth "Art-Line" there will be the exhibition of works by artists participating in a creative center "Senezh" (Russia) which for a long time has been headed by People’s Artist of Belarus, Laureate of State Prize of the Republic of Belarus, member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Russian Academy of Arts George Poplawski. The audience can see works made in the 70s by the participants of these art centers from the collection of Leonid and Nina Marchenko
Traditionally, the project will present the retroprogramma, which includes the works of European classics from the National Library of Belarus. This year the retroprogramma will present a collection of Belgian artist Felicien Rops’s prints.
The exhibition runs until 10 May, 2012.
