«There is a bagpiper among us…»

The exhibition "There is a bagpiper among us..." has been on display in the library since January 31. The exhibition is dedicated to the 215th anniversary of the birth of Vincent Dunin-Marcinkevich, a great Belarusian dramatist, poet, publicist, educator, translator, literary and public figure (1808–1884).

Mogiliov Provincial Printing House

Mogiliov provincial printing house celebrates its 190th anniversary of the foundation this year. It was under the control of the provincial government of Mogiliov for 84 years (1833–1917). The remaining machinery of the provincial printing house received the equipment from the consistory printing house in 1846 after it had closed in 1844.

With a Fairy Tale Throughout the Life

The Ringed Gallery (the third floor) is launching the book and art exhibition "With a Fairy Tale Throughout the Life", honouring the 90th anniversary of the birth of Elena Georgievna Los (1933–2013), a well-known book illustrator and easel graphic artist in Belarus and abroad, from 20 January to 10 March.

The National Library of Belarus is launching a book and illustration exhibition honouring the recipients of the prize titled "For Spiritual Revival", the special prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus to cultural and artistic figures, as well as the special prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus titled "Belarusian Sports Olympus" for 2022.

From July 2 to August 5, in the documents of international rganizations of the National Library of Belarus (2nd floor, room 207g), a thematic book exhibition "Modernity and the future of the Earth's Population" takes place. The exhibition is dedicated to World Population Day, the 75th anniversary of the formation of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the 30th the anniversary of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and UNFPA .
