On April 26, the meeting of the Public Consultative Council on Education with the participation of Education Minister Igor Karpenko was held at the Lyceum of the Belarusian State University.


During the meeting, the legal status of the council established under the Ministry of Education was finally determined. The order on the creation of a public consultative council on education was signed by the minister. The chairman, deputies and secretary of the new organization were also elected. The Public Advisory Council on Education under the Ministry of Education was headed by Roman Motulsky, Doctor of Education, Professor, director of the National Library of Belarus.

The public council included not only specialists in the field of education and science (directors of schools, gymnasiums and colleges, teachers, representatives of higher education), but also those who are engaged in other spheres – deputies, military, athletes, artists, media persons, including the representatives of both the capital and regions. The public and private institutions are also represented.

The quest tour "The road of the Great Victory"

They took part in the quest tour "The road of the Great Victory", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Republic of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.
